AI-assisted contract review
Apprentices build review pipelines that flag risky clauses across NDAs, MSAs and lease agreements — cutting first-pass review time by 60–80% on standard volumes.
Train your fee-earners, paralegals and support staff to build AI workflows for contract review, e-disclosure and client intake — using your existing apprenticeship levy.
Five real workflows legal firms can build inside a TESS apprenticeship — every learner ships a project against your own systems.
Apprentices build review pipelines that flag risky clauses across NDAs, MSAs and lease agreements — cutting first-pass review time by 60–80% on standard volumes.
Train teams to use TAR (Technology Assisted Review) and clustering tools to compress disclosure exercises from weeks to days, with defensible audit trails.
Build intake forms that auto-populate Practice Management Systems and run conflict checks against your existing matter database before the partner ever sees the request.
RAG (retrieval-augmented generation) over your firm's own precedents — partners review a first draft instead of starting from a blank page.
Apprentices learn to build monitoring layers that catch the SRA-relevant signals before they escalate — and document the human-in-the-loop trail regulators expect.
Three apprenticeship pathways that fit law-firm roles — all levy-eligible, all 18 months, all delivered with sector-tailored case studies.
Suits paralegals, knowledge-management assistants and tech-curious support staff. Builds working SQL, Python and prompt-engineering skills.
The flagship pathway for senior paralegals, knowledge engineers and operations leads. Learners ship a live AI workflow into the firm.
Built for fee-earner team leads and operations managers — covers AI governance, vendor selection, and managing teams through AI rollout.
Yes — and increasingly expected. The SRA's 2024 guidance recognises AI as a legitimate productivity tool provided supervision and confidentiality controls are in place. Our apprentices learn both the build skills and the governance frame.
All three programmes are fully levy-eligible and 100% funded from your apprenticeship pot if you're a levy payer. Non-levy firms pay just 5% — the government funds the remaining 95%.
Apprenticeships require 6 hours/week off-the-job training (about 20% of working time, often delivered in evening cohorts or compressed sprints). We work with your practice manager to fit the rhythm.
All cohort exercises use synthetic case data we provide. Projects on real client data are scoped jointly with your COLP and operate inside your firm's existing AI/data policies.
Yes — once you reach ~8 learners we'll run a closed cohort with sector-specific case studies pulled from law firm workflows.
30-minute call with our legal-sector lead. We'll map roles to apprenticeship standards and pull a draft levy plan.
