1- or 2-Day Workshop AI & Digital

Build AI agents your team can actually ship.

A practical, tool-agnostic workshop for the people who'll build and run agents in your business. Every learner ships at least one working agent on your stack, your data, your dates.

What your team will leave with

From "we have Copilot licences" to shipping working agents.

Six concrete capability shifts, tied to behaviour change, not handouts. Items marked 2-day only are unlocked on the deep dive.

01 · Definitions

Tell agents, automations and assistants apart. Know which workflows in your business genuinely benefit from an agent, most don't.

02 · Single-agent design

Triggers, knowledge, actions, tool-binding and permission scoping. Prompt design for autonomous operation (different to chat).

03 · Tool integration

Connect agents to QuickBooks, HubSpot, Salesforce, SharePoint, custom APIs. Authentication, rate limits, idempotency.

04 · Evaluation

Sampling, automated checks, calibrated trust thresholds. Human-in-the-loop escalation rules. Catch failure modes pre-prod.

05 · Multi-agent orchestration2-day

Sequential, parallel, supervisor/worker, RAG-augmented. Production-grade Make.com scenario with three coordinated agents.

06 · Governance & audit2-day

Audit trails the FCA, ICO or your board would accept. Mapping to UK GDPR, EU AI Act and Consumer Duty. Internal rollout playbook.

Who it's for

The person who'll actually build the agents.

✓ Right fit if

You're a mid-level practitioner who'll own the AI stack. Operations leads, RevOps, marketing ops, finance ops, IT generalists, analysts who've outgrown spreadsheets. Anyone whose job description includes "build a workflow".

× Not the right fit if

You're looking for a strategic AI overview for senior leaders. Take our AI for Leaders programme or the AU0009/10/11 Leadership Units instead.

Two formats, one outcome

Pick the depth that matches your team.

Both formats run as closed cohorts on your dates, with up to 12 delegates. The 2-day deep dive adds multi-agent orchestration, real source-system integration and the governance layer that satisfies regulated environments.

1-Day Fundamentals

Fast on-ramp.

Design, build and ship one working agent.

  • Agent vs automation vs assistant, the actual definitions
  • The five primitives: perception, planning, tool-use, memory, action
  • Mapping candidate workflows against a suitability framework
  • Single-agent design in Copilot Studio
  • Prompt design for autonomous operation
  • Error-handling, fallback, rollback
  • 30 / 60 / 90 commitment per learner
By 5pm: one production-ready single-agent workflow per learner, built on your stack.
2-Day Deep Dive

Multi-agent & governance.

Everything in Day 1, plus orchestration, integrations & audit.

  • Day 1: the full 1-day fundamentals above
  • Multi-agent patterns: sequential, parallel, supervisor/worker, RAG
  • Production-grade Make.com scenario with three coordinated agents
  • Integration with QuickBooks, HubSpot, Salesforce, SharePoint, custom APIs
  • Authentication, rate limits, idempotency, rollback
  • Audit trails mapped to UK GDPR, EU AI Act, FCA Consumer Duty
  • Internal rollout playbook + deployment plan per learner
By Day 2 close: a multi-agent build, deployment plan and audit-trail template aligned to UK regulatory expectations.
Sensible questions

Frequently asked.

Which format should we pick, 1-day or 2-day?

1-day if your team just needs a fast on-ramp to ship a single working agent. 2-day if you're shipping multiple agents that need to coordinate, you're working with regulated or sensitive data, or you want governance built in from the start.

Is the workshop tool-agnostic or vendor-specific?

Tool-agnostic in framing, with Copilot Studio and Make.com as primary build environments. We demonstrate Google Gemini Gems, Power Automate and Zapier alongside so the patterns transfer. We don't lock you into one vendor's ecosystem.

Does this need coding?

No. The workshop uses low-code/no-code agent platforms throughout. The mental model required is "workflow designer", not "software engineer". Anyone comfortable with Excel formulas, Make/Zapier scenarios or Microsoft Power Platform will be fine.

What does it cost?

Pricing depends on format, group size and delivery mode (live online vs in-person). As a guide, closed cohorts up to 12 delegates start from a few thousand pounds for the 1-day format and rise from there. Book a 15-minute discovery call and we'll give you a concrete figure within 24 hours.

Is this levy-funded?

Workshops on their own are typically self-funded. If you commission this alongside an ST1512 apprenticeship cohort or the AU0009/10/11 leadership units, the workshop can usually be levy-funded as part of the cohort spend. Talk to us and we'll structure it.

Where does this sit alongside your apprenticeships?

Complementary. The workshop is the fast on-ramp for a 3–12-person team that needs working agents in production within 90 days. The ST1512 Level 4 apprenticeship is the durable answer for the person who'll own your AI practice long-term, 15 months, 100% funded for SMEs, no coding required. Most clients buy both.

How many delegates can attend?

Up to 12 per cohort. Smaller cohorts of 6–8 tend to produce the best per-learner outcomes because everyone gets time to ship a real agent.

How quickly can we run a cohort?

Typically 2–4 weeks from enquiry to delivery, subject to coach availability. Same-week delivery sometimes possible for urgent cohorts.
